An experienced financial advisor, community leader, and martial arts instructor, Michael Wolfe has worked in fields that include financial management, nonprofit leadership, education, and community service. He is based in Greenville, SC, where he works with nonprofit organizations and individuals. Michael Wolfe also teaches aikido to both children and adults at a nonprofit dojo in Greenville.

Dr. Wolfe studied at Wofford College and later completed business leadership studies through Duke University’s Center for Creative Leadership. He earned a PhD from the University of Virginia and has taught at Spartanburg Methodist College, Erskine College, and the University of South Carolina. He completed the Certified Financial Planner program at Emery University. His work in education has included teaching classes, mentoring students, supporting service projects, and helping develop academic programs.

In addition, Michael Wolfe worked with Clemson University Strong Communities, where he recruited and trained volunteers, supported at-risk children, managed project funds, wrote grants, and helped with fundraising efforts. He has also led fundraising work for nonprofit organizations, including capital building campaigns and charity projects. Since 2013, Dr. Wolfe has served as a financial advisor with Edward Jones Investments while continuing his martial arts practice as a fifth-degree black belt in aikido and an instructor with the South Carolina Ki Society.
